Partnerships

Curious Sports Journal considers collaborations that fit readers interested in how sport works, while keeping editorial explanation distinct from commercial material.

Possible collaborations

We consider clearly defined projects such as a commissioned, labelled explainer, a relevant resource placement, or a partner link in an appropriate standing area. Proposals should say what is being offered, where it would appear and how it relates to readers. A placement is not an endorsement of a product or a promise of editorial coverage.

Clear labelling

Partner-supported material and paid placements are labelled where readers encounter them. Labels distinguish that material from independent editorial work; they do not change the standards we use for accuracy or give a partner control over unrelated coverage.

Send a proposal

Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Include the proposed format, subject, intended placement and any relevant conditions. We review proposals for fit and clarity, and may decline work that would confuse readers about who is speaking.
